He may be little & cute now, but before long—whether that’s in five years or five thousand, depending on how much he eats—he’ll lose his baby fur and reach adulthood. His father, Krönax gro Uraxis VII, a lawyer at a Bay Street firm in Toronto, is roughly the size of the SkyDome.

The severed trophy head of a ravening sea monster, mounted on a burnt wooden plank that’s all that remains of the last ship he devoured before finally being vanquished. He hangs dark and silent as a watery grave, at least until he senses the warmth of any still-living thing that strays too close. Then, with a snap of his jaws and a cold glow behind his eyes, the old hunter reminds you that death is not always the end…
Azuroh
Cloud-Herder Dragon
Azuroh is a Nimbodrac: a species of tiny, cat-like dragons, air elementals charged with herding the clouds around the sky. Batting the whorls of cottony cirrus around like yarn, the wisps snowball together until they form clouds, and the clouds roll together until they turn heavy and grey and finally break into a storm. With chirps and chatters of excitement, Azuroh goes cartwheeling between the bolts.

Dream-Spirit Hare
Muse is one of countless minor Spirits presiding over the many aspects of life on the Mortal Plane. The “Big Ones”, like War, Love, Storms etc are all taken by the higher-ups, of course. Minor Spirits handle more subtle things: Muse’s domain is Inspiration. She’s the manic spark of a new idea. She’s the proverbial lightning no one can bottle. She’s the slow, steady years poured into a masterpiece. The innate drive to turn “What if?” into “Look at this!” Taking the form of a ghostly Hare, she entices hungry minds to chase their prey and be fed.

L O N G Furby
A Hallowe’en 2024 project made from an original 90’s furby. The eyes are glow-in-the-dark poured resin & the eyelashes have Blacklight glow. Moved the battery& reset button to the end of the tail + gave Furby a quiet switch + EL strings in the head + LED strip down the mane: 6 AA’s & a USB power bank. Wires run inside a poseable mole-tube body.
Felix
Impossible Chimera
Equal parts lion, goat, and rooster, Felix is a Chimera. Fearless to the point of foolish, he laughs loud and often. With an adaptable and extroverted nature, Chimeras prefer city life. They can blend in so well anywhere they go that most humans don’t even notice them. Their strange biology is also not well understood. Legends say the Gods make Chimeras one at a time, instead of using a mold like the other creatures, with the spare parts from minting fresh batches of normal animals. Science says it’s their DNA: first, it is a triple helix. Second, instead of the T/A C/G sets, they basically run through the whole alphabet. Some sub-species start on numbers. Felix, like all Chimeras, is cheerfully unconcerned by the fact he shouldn’t exist.

Zephyr is a young North American Gryphon, half wolf cub and half owlet. Each one can live many thousands of years, so there are only a few alive at one time and each one born is a fateful and portentous event. Zephyr is currently the youngest North American Gryphon in the world despite being many times the age of the oldest human. Because of their unimaginably long lives, these animals have an unearthly quality about them, combining youthful energy with a wry sense of ancient wisdom.
