Abbi Normal creates imaginative soft sculpture pieces, custom doll & plush designs, costumery and mixed-media art that bring fantastical, otherworldly (and sometimes unsettling) creatures to life. Inspired by mythology and the creative spark of “what-ifs,” her work blends storytelling with creative craftsmanship.
Working in her hidden lair far below the city pavement of Toronto, Abbi has been sewing spare parts into monsters and other critters on Etsy since 2016 and outside of it for longer than she can remember.
