Humanoid species may be the most diverse single category of fantasy races, to the extent it’s difficult to even describe them as a whole beyond sharing a roughly human-like facial structure. Other than that, anything goes. They’re typically tailless and furless, lacking natural defenses and walking plantigrade. But given the countless different species in this category–everything from satyrs to orcs to tieflings to fairies–not many of them are all that typical.
